Blue Ridge Trail
This easy 5-mile hike departs from Big Pines Visitors Center, making it easily accessible for the casual tourist or mountain biker. With an elevation gain of approximately 1,000 feet, the hike runs through Mountain High Ski Resort and intersects the Pacific Crest Trail at the top. Along the way, you'll notice beautiful wildflowers, Jeffrey Pines and cross a little wooden bridge above a trickling stream. End your hike at Blue Ridge Campground, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch while enjoying the scenery. Be sure to take a peek at the breathtaking views of Mount Baden-Powell and valley before beginning your descent back to Big Pines.
