St. Andrew’s Abbey

Tucked in the quiet Hidden Springs Valley between Wrightwood and Valyermo, St. Andrew’s Abbey is a Benedictine priory and monastery established in 1956. Though you can visit year-round for weekend or day retreats and Mass, the Abbey really comes alive during the fall when it holds its annual Fall Festival. The festive event includes live entertainment, food, locally-made wines and plenty of fun activities for the kids. Just don’t leave without buying one of their famous ceramics made by Father Maur van Doorslaer. The St. Andrews Ceramics Studio has drawn loyal fans and collectors since 1969.

St. Andrew’s Abbey is located at 31101 N. Valyermo Road, just south of Route 138. Call (661) 944-1047 or visit them online at www.SaintsandAngels.org
