You know that school is out when you see the long lines forming outside this family-owned ice cream store and candy shop, a favorite of locals since the 1970s. A delightful mix of house-made fudges, chocolates, candies and other confections delight children who come here, and adults are certainly fans as well.

Don’t miss the pumpkin ice cream during the fall, or the nice selection of teas and coffee. Afterward, head outside to enjoy your treats on the large wrap-around porch, which overlooks an English garden brimming with hollyhocks, stone paths and a resident bunny.
