Wrightwood is home to great skiing and snowboarding on two separate mountains, located just a couple miles from Wrightwood village.

Mountain High Ski Resort is the main (and only) Wrightwood ski resort, with runs catering to every level of skier and snowboarder. It boasts more than 46 trails with 220 skiable acres and a vertical drop of 8,200 feet.

Typically, the Wrightwood skiing season runs between November and April, though there are sometimes surprise storms both before and after these dates.

Wrightwood snowboarding is best enjoyed at Mountain High West, which is home to Faultline Terrain Park with plenty of jumps and features. Skiers will enjoy Mountain High East best for its long runs and less-rowdy crowd.

For Wrightwood ski rentals, Mountain High offers ski rental shops on-site, or you can rent gear at McGrath’s in town.

Mountain High offers regular bus service between both resorts. Mountain High North, located on Table Mountain, is home to a tubing park.
